Strathmore RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying suspects involved in an ATM theft at the Mercantile at Muirfield in Lyalta Alta., on Feb. 17 at 9 a.m.

The investigation indicated that a Ford pick-up truck was used to back into the storefront to steal the ATM.

The ATM did not have any cash inside due to business practices, and because the business was closed at the time of the break-in, no one was injured. However, the break-in did cause extensive damages in excess of $15,000.

The Strathmore RCMP believe the Ford pick-up truck used would have sustained damage to the rear of the vehicle and both side mirrors.

If you have any information regarding this incident, please contact the Strathmore RCMP at 403-934-3968 or call the local police.

To remain anonymous contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), online at www.P3Tips.com or by using the "P3 Tips" app available through the Apple App or Google Play Store.
