How Can the Chestermere Chamber of Commerce Support Your Business?

Whether you own a retail store, operate a professional service, manage a restaurant, or run a home-based business, every business owner encounters challenges. Some are unique to your business, while others affect many businesses across our community.

The Chestermere Chamber of Commerce is here to listen, advocate, and help strengthen the local business community.

Maybe you're experiencing delays with business permitting, have questions about signage regulations, struggle with parking, or are affected by road construction. If you operate a home-based business in Chestermere, you may have concerns about zoning, client parking, signage, or understanding municipal regulations. Perhaps you've found that communication could be improved, or you've identified a policy that makes it more difficult to do business in Chestermere.

We want to hear from you.

Business Advocacy Starts with Your Feedback

One of the Chamber's most important roles is business advocacy. The Chestermere Chamber of Commerce works to identify common challenges facing local businesses and bring those concerns to the City of Chestermere in a constructive, solutions-focused way.

When several businesses experience the same issue, it helps us identify trends, prioritize concerns, and advocate for improvements that benefit the entire business community. Your feedback helps us represent the needs of local businesses and support long-term economic development in Chestermere.

What Business Challenges Are You Facing?

We're interested in hearing about issues such as:

Business permitting and approvals

Signage regulations and visibility

Parking availability and accessibility

Business licensing and inspections

Road construction and traffic impacts

Communication from the City

Zoning or regulations affecting home-based businesses

Local bylaws impacting businesses

Economic development and business growth

Any other issue that makes it harder to operate a business in Chestermere

Whether you're a long-established company, a new entrepreneur, or operate a home-based business, your experience matters. Home-based businesses are an important part of Chestermere's economy, and their voices deserve to be heard alongside storefront and commercial businesses.

Your Voice Helps Shape a Stronger Business Community

Not every issue can be resolved immediately, and some concerns may affect only one business. However, many challenges are shared by others who simply haven't spoken up yet.

Your concern may not only help your business. It may highlight an issue affecting dozens of other businesses in Chestermere. The more feedback the Chamber receives, the stronger our voice becomes when advocating on behalf of our members and the broader business community.

The Chestermere Chamber of Commerce is more than networking events and business mixers. We're here to support local businesses, encourage economic growth, and help make Chestermere one of the best places in Alberta to start, operate, and grow a business.

If something is making it harder to run your business, we'd like to know. Even if you're unsure whether it's a Chamber issue, reach out. We'll help identify the best path forward and, where appropriate, raise common concerns with the City on behalf of the local business community.

Have a concern, suggestion, or question? Contact the Chestermere Chamber of Commerce and let us know how we can better support your business. Together, we can build a stronger business community in Chestermere.
