Families can celebrate Diwali at the Calgary Yacht Club in Chestermere on November 6, from 5 to 8 p.m. The free community Mela includes games, crafts and dancing at 635 East Chestermere Drive.
Organizers ask each attendee to register individually. The cooking component has filled and has a waitlist, separate from the other activities.
