Part-Time | Commission-Based

Anchor Media Inc. is growing.
Through The Chestermere Anchor, CFTR The Rogue Community Radio, and our expanding online community hub, we connect thousands of local residents every week through local news, community information, events, contests, digital media, and radio programming.
We're looking for an energetic, community-minded sales professional who enjoys helping local businesses grow.
This is not a traditional newspaper advertising position.
You will work directly with local businesses to create customized marketing solutions using a variety of platforms, including:
• Newspaper advertising
• Community radio advertising
• Website advertising
• Newsletter sponsorships
• Contest sponsorships
• Sponsored content opportunities
• Community event promotions
• Business marketing packages
What You'll Do
• Build relationships with local businesses
• Identify new advertising and sponsorship opportunities
• Create customized marketing proposals
• Maintain regular contact with existing clients
• Generate new business opportunities throughout Chestermere and surrounding communities
• Represent Anchor Media at community events and business functions
What We're Looking For
• Self-motivated and organized
• Comfortable meeting and speaking with business owners
• Strong communication skills
• Community-minded and relationship-focused
• Previous sales experience is an asset but not required
• Familiarity with Chestermere and surrounding communities is preferred
Compensation
This is a commission-based position with unlimited earning potential.
Higher commission rates are available for new business development and recurring advertising programs.
Flexible hours allow you to build the role around your schedule while creating meaningful income.
